Summary of Professional Experience
Wei-Che graduated from Algonquin College with a diploma in massage therapy. Before becoming a massage therapist, he practiced in Taiwan as a specialist physician with a focus on chronic pain management. He started his practice in general rehabilitation medicine in Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital in Taipei, then he moved on to more focused practice on musculoskeletal problems and chronic pain in the clinic one year later.
It had not been long when Wei-Che realized that traditional medical training alone was insufficient to deal with those with complicated pain. He thus began to expose himself to a wide variety of therapeutic modalities including movement therapy, manual therapy, regenerative medicine, and other alternative medicine.
He has taken extra training in CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and STOTT PILATES Rehab Programs and integrates them into massage treatment. His practice is more fascia-oriented and focuses on the connection between neurologic, musculoskeletal, and visceral systems.
Wei-Che is passionate about working with his clients to promote their health together as well as sharing all he knows about wellness with them.
